BOTANISTE

This Art Series is inspired by the Fabled World of Botanist & Explorer Jeanne Baret (1740-1807). She is recognized as the first woman to have circumnavigated the globe. Disguised as a man upon a French naval vessel, Baret was involved in collecting over 6,000 plant species during her voyage.
Our botanical studies are an ode to Baret's sense of discovery and the beauty of the Natural World.
